The Kansas City Chalk and Walk Festival is a free local 2-day event that takes place every year at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. I first participated in this event as a chalk artist. It truly is an amazing festival. Donations from the festival go towards The Chalk and Walk Arts Educational Program. This program is designed to fill the gap left by cuts to arts programs in many schools. This program will bring artists into schools as part of the children’s (K-12) after/during school activities. The Kansas City Chalk and Walk already had their branding established. They did still need assistance creating colorful, informative stationery that they could use to further promote the event, it’s sponsors and mission.
